IMARC EXPO 2026

The International Mining and Resources Conference + Expo (IMARC) is Australia’s largest and most influential mining event, bringing together the global mining industry to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and drive meaningful discussion.

As Australia’s International Mining Week, IMARC attracts more than 12,000 registered attendees from over 120 countries, with strong participation at government and ministerial levels from 50 nations. This makes it a truly international gathering where industry leaders, innovators, investors, and decision-makers come together to shape the future of the entire mining value chain.

The world-class program features five concurrent conferences covering the full mining value chain, with panel discussions and strategic keynote presentations. Participants gain insights from C-suite executives and industry leaders on operational excellence, technology and innovation, project development and delivery, investment, and global opportunities.

The exhibition features over 500 solution providers from around the world, showcasing the latest technologies, machinery, and services driving innovation and productivity across the mining sector.

Alongside the main event, a wide range of side events hosted by local and international organisations—such as networking sessions, industry gatherings, and launch announcements—offers even more opportunities to connect and learn.

IMARC is backed by founding partners the Victorian Government, Austmine, and AusIMM, and is proudly supported by host partner the NSW Government and peak bodies.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international / national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.

Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.

The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.

The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity (BMLEH).

As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
